Coaching Enquiries

As a professional athlete for so many years, I have learnt first hand that there is no single correct approach in training for distance races. That is why, when I first began coaching other runners, giving out 16 or 20 week "set marathon plans" was never an option. It very rarely works, and if it does, it is never going to be an optimal plan. Rather, I prefer to build an open two-way relationship with every runner that I coach. Regular communication is key, so that we can work together towards the target goal, be that a  specific race or one that we have set in combination.​​

 

Over the years, I have coached runners of all abilities, from those who have never completed a race before, the whole way through to veteran marathon runners looking to try and run their first personal best in decades. Whether your target race is a 1500m track competition or a specific marathon (or longer), my aim is to get you to the startline as fit, healthy and as confident as possible.​
